Hutch "The Last Cold I'll Ever Catch" 7"
EXC-011
They put out a 7" called "Stupor" on Incision records under the name Rake before changing their name to Hutch and recording these three songs for Excursion with Seaweed's Clint Werner at TacWa Studios.
This band never got enough respect, and that sucks because they were really, really good.
"Now that Jawbreaker have joined the ranks of many in the hopes of major label stardom, bands like Hutch should find a large following in the indie scene. This Oregon band is very 'breaker-ish in almost all respects. Gruff vocals, mid-song meanderings, and a "textured" feel to the guitars. This is actually quite good and the more I listen to it the more I hear a distinct originality baring it's soul." -Schtufff 'zine
