Serpico "Preparing Today For Tomorrow's Breakdown" LP/CD

EXC-012

This is Serpico's second album. The guys were lucky enough to get Bill Stevenson and Stephen Egerton from ALL to produce this record, and Stephen even adds some of his guitar talent to one track. Here are some of the reviews it has received.

"Produced by ALL all-stars Bill Stevenson and Stephen Egerton, this album documents anything but your typical New York band. Musically lying somewhere closer to Jawbreaker or Samiam, Serpico play thought-provoking pop-punk with a hardcore edge. Solid in every way, this record is a beautiful illustration of a varied scene." -Anti-matter

"Serpico have put out an incredible album. It actually sounds like a more mature Descendents, with plenty of oh-oh's and harmonies, and happy upbeat emotional music. Right up my alley. Personal lyrics and a great layout make this one of my new faves." -Trustkill 'zine

"As my turntable slowly spun spilling out the glorific sounds of Serpico, I realized that Excursion really knew what they were doing when they put out this record. Serpico has an emo-beat not found in many bands in this day and age. Although bassist Marc Treboschi's fingers happily dance up and down the frets in the "All" and "Descendents" like fashion found in many of today's bands, it is a little more subtle and I feel just holds to the progressive beat of this Emo-core influenced band. For anyone lacking variety in their musical selections, checkout Serpico and watch them turn your life around as they did mine." -Diesel 'zine
