"Forecast" Compilation CD

A compilation CD designed to expose the listener to a lot of great new music at a little price. This CD contains 4 bands, each doing 4 songs. The result is like getting 4 different EPs for less than the price of the average full length release.

The Bands are Red Rocket, State Route 522, Artless Motives, and Whatever. Red Rocket and State Route 522 are bands from the Seattle area who have records out on Excursion. Both bands play upbeat, pop-oriented, punk music with tons of energy and emotion. Artless Motives were from Eugene, Oregon. They played a Punk/Ska mix reminiscent of Op Ivy - Much more so than that last crop of trendy Ska bands. They were very fun and very good. Whatever hail from Ohio, and play more of a Bad Religion-ish, kind of cynical, college educated sort of punk rock. Check out their records on Dead Beat and Dr. Strange.
