The State Route side is vintage SR522, full of emotion and energy.
The Lying on Loot side of this 7" is actually the little known first solo release by Waxwing vocalist/guitarist Rocky Votolato. LOL was an early band that Rocky fronted, and during a recording session Rocky and friend Seth Warren (who has also played on more recent Rocky releases - most notably the Rocky Votolato/Seth Warren 7" on Redwood) put together these 2 beautiful acoustic guitar and violin based songs. Rocky credits this record as being the thing that convinced him to pursue his solo music career.
